Kaffee Käthe is one of the homeliest cafes we’ve stepped into. The interior is Scandinavian styled, and they decorate according to season. They also have a wall dedicated to selling local and international artist’s works.
The breakfast here is smashing, the big brekie is a tonne of food, even for someone with a decent appetite, they serve a Smörgåsbord of super tasty vege or non vege items. The scrambled eggs are lit, some of the best cooked eggs in the neighbourhood and the Rosemary latte is incredible. They source their coffee from Guatemala and have an exclusive contract, so you know its the only place in the city you can get it.. Remarkably their brews didn’t give me the usual coffee anxiety.
The staff are super friendly hailing from Russia, if you wanna go practice your language skills or talk about Rusky art or literature.
